Budapest Wine Festival

Every September tens of thousands of people visit the Buda castle to celebrate wine at Hungary’s greatest wine festival. Exhibitors present their wines from all around Hungary and from a few foreign countries. Even if you are not the wine expert, the ambiance and the festival programs will guarantee the unforgettable holiday in Budapest.

Across the cobblestone grounds  of the Castle district, sweet-scented wines and delicious treats mingle in the air, inviting guests to fully immerse into what the festival has to offer under the open sky.

The ticket and registration availability for certain programs is limited. You can register and purchase tickets online, there are one-ticket and 4-day ticket options. Ticket prices include 1 crystal tasting glass, free entry to the permanent exhibitions of the Budapest History Museum and a wristband with unlimited exit and re-enrty per person.
